These little pups' mommy found herself in a dangerous shelter, pregnant, and facing euthanasia. Underdog Rescue (thank you Sue!) rescued the pregnant momma, just before she was put down, and she was able to have her babies in a safe, warm, foster home.
Her 3 pups are now 7 weeks old, have their first round of shots, and are looking for loving, families that are committed to the time and patience necessary to raise a well socialized, lovingly trained, companion dog.
This is baby Jewel, the most shy of the group. LIttle Jewel is a bit more quiet than her brother and sister. She loves to be held and cuddled. Jewel started off being a little picky eater, but I think she was just holding out for a batch of home made chicken soup. She is doing better now, eating well, much more confident! and even plays a game of tug of war with her siblings. Jewel requires someone who has lots of love to give! She is a bit shy but still friendly to everyone!
Adoption fee of $300. includes shots, deworm, and spay / neuter.
To ensure that we will have the best possible match for this pet, we do require an: application, phone interview, adoption fee & contract and frequently, a home check.
This pet is spayed / neutered, dewormed, had age appropriate vaccines, been groomed and has had a brief temperament evaluation to help us determine what type of a home he/she would thrive in. |
