| DESI, is a beautifully handsome greyhound/lab mix. Desi has quite a story....He has survived death twice.... He is loving and exuberant, with a gorgeous big grin! Desi needs an experienced, strong, but "big hearted" master. TRUTHFULLY, HE WOULD BE THE BEST DOG FOR SOMEONE WHO LOVES TO RUN! Athletic person, Are you out there??? I rescued DESI (a Greyhound/Lab mix with eyes of gold) from horrible conditions in a high kill shelter......When I took him out of his cage, he jumped up on me and grabbed me around the hips "like a lion"....holding on for dear life." Literally. Desi tucked his head under my arms and choose ME to SAVE HIM. I promised him I would not let him die. He was skin and bones....Starving. Too depressed to eat. Shivering on cold cement. Yet there was a powerful wisdom about Desi, A wisdom that is hard to describe in words. I KNEW, IF I LEFT HIM THERE TO DIE.....HIS LOVING EYES WOULD HAUNT ME Please, help us with Desi's medical expenses. We are a small group of passionate rescuers who go the extra mile.
